Finalists Announced for the 40th AOP Awards

2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the acclaimed AOP Photography Awards, celebrating excellence in the creative photography and image-making industry. Sponsored by MPB, this year’s headline sponsor, the Awards focus on human creativity and professional practice and are an unmissable opportunity to be seen by leading commissioners and names in photography.
The Gold and Silver winners will be announced live at the AOP Annual Showcase event in London on 9 October 2025, where, alongside selected finalists, the winning entries will also be exhibited at the Showcase. That this year is 40 years since the Awards’ inception reflects the AOP’s commitment to celebrating every facet of the photography industry.

Elliot documents the stark inequities of power and access across rural and racial lines within the Navajo Nation–the largest Native reservation in the U.S. Elliot Ross will receive a $2500 cash prize in addition to the creation of a digital portfolio and the chance to publish a book.

Women Photograph is thrilled to announce the recipients of our 2025 grants: the Women Photograph Project Grants of $5,000 have been awarded to Teala Elise Avery, Chloé Azzopardi, Elsie Haddad, Nicola Muirhead, and Melissa Ann Pinney.
