ExhibitionThe Photometria International Photography Festival is calling for entries to the “Photometria Φωtobook” exhibition contest, open to artists and self-publishers from around the world.
This open call focuses on artist books, self-published photobooks, limited edition books, zines, and DIY publications related to photography. It is a unique opportunity to share your work with an international audience and contribute to the evolving culture of photobook publishing.
The selected books will be presented at the Photometria Photography Center during the 18th edition of the Photometria International Photography Festival, taking place from 26 September to 29 November 2026. The exhibition will later be hosted at ZOETROPE Athens, on a date to be announced.
After the exhibitions conclude, the selected publications will be listed and added to the Photometria Photography Center’s public photographic library. The festival aims to disseminate the selected books as widely as possible before they are catalogued and placed in the P.P.C. library, offering long-term visibility for the artists.
Results will be announced on the festival’s social media channels within two months after the competition concludes, and winners will be notified individually via email. Selected artists will be asked to send their books, at their own expense, by the end of May 2026.
The Photometria International Photography Festival is organized by “Entefxis”, a non-profit organization. Held for the past 17 years in the city of Ioannina, Photometria is the first interactive photography festival in which everyone who loves the art of photography can participate.
