Grid Photo GalleryPhotography of the Year 2025 at Grid Photo Gallery invites photographers from around the world to take part in our most important annual challenge and compete with the most outstanding images showcased in our gallery throughout the year. With no thematic limitations, this open call celebrates the very best in photography. What truly matters is the strength of a single photograph: its impact, its clarity of intent, and its ability to stay with the viewer.
This call is an invitation to bring your finest work forward: images that capture decisive moments, quiet subtleties, bold experiments, or refined craft. We welcome diverse genres and approaches, provided the photograph shows a high level of artistic and technical excellence.
Selected photographs will appear in a global online exhibition launching February 1, 2026. The 1st Place winner will hold the title “Grid Photo Gallery Photography of the Year 2025”, receive a €300 cash prize, and be featured prominently within the exhibition. The top three images will be highlighted as part of the showcase, and selected works may be included in a printed catalog available for purchase.
For photographers who have taken part in our contests during the year, please note that the top three images from each contest will be automatically entered into Grid Photo Gallery’s Photography of the Year 2025. You are, of course, welcome to submit as many additional images as you like through this open call. We look forward to seeing your work and wish you the best of luck.
