Royal Society of BiologyThe Organiser of the competition is the Royal Society of Biology in the United Kingdom.
This year's theme is "Restoring Biodiversity and Habitat".
" This topic could mean so many things and we would love to see your interpretation. [...] Whatever you choose, we want you to showcase animals, plants or fungi within their wider ecosystem - focus on the biodiversity of your chosen habitats whether that is a small space or a wide-open landscape.
Each entrant can submit up to three photographs to the competition.

• Photographer of the Year (18 and over): £1,000
• Young Photographer of the Year (under 18): £500
