The Dreamers competition: a springboard for young talent
The Dreamers competition was created to meet a key need: to offer teenagers aged 12 to 16 a platform for developing and showcasing their photographic talent. The competition is aimed specifically at this age group, as it is a crucial age for personal and artistic development. The Dreamers is designed to offer teenagers a unique opportunity for recognition and learning.
Theme and entry
This year’s theme is ‘Growth’, inviting entrants to explore change and evolution in different forms.
Entry requirements
– The competition is free and open to young people aged 12 to 16.
– Each entrant must submit 4 images, produced without any external assistance (except technical and educational assistance).
#NewGenerationOfPhotographers
– The use of artificial intelligence (AI) to process photos and write descriptions is prohibited. However, the use of Photoshop is authorised.
2025 Prize
The shortlisted series will be exhibited at La Caserne, 12 rue Philippe de Girard, 75010 Paris, in November 2025.
The 3 winners of The Dreamers in 2025 competition will receive :
– A two-day ‘self-publishing’ course organised by Lavoir Numérique.
– Half a day in a fully equipped amap studio to perfect their studio photography skills and/or carry out an artistic project.
