Cash PrizeBlack & White Photo Awards 2025 continues its mission to recognize and reward outstanding talent in monochrome photography. With five thematic categories —Architecture, Street, Fauna and Flora, Portrait, and Landscape— photographers from around the world can showcase their creativity and vision.
This year, the contest reaches new heights with an expanded prize pool valued at €8,500. The Absolute Winner will receive €1,000, courtesy of SanDisk Professional, along with a ThyPoch Simera 35mm lens (E/RF/Z/X mount) to continue capturing breathtaking black & white images.
Special prizes include the Creativity Award, sponsored by SanDisk Professional, featuring their latest SanDisk Professional PRO-G40 SSD (4TB). The newly introduced Master of Light Award, sponsored by Godox, will reward the image that best captures light’s essence in black and white with a Godox AD600ProII flash. Additionally, the contest debuts a Second Prize, offering a Benro Tortoise TTOR24CGX30 carbon fiber tripod and a Tenba Axis V2 20L backpack, sponsored by Foto Técnica Import.
Category winners in Street and Portrait photography will also receive access to the Retouch4me editing suite, enhancing their workflow with professional-grade tools.
Open to both professional and amateur photographers worldwide, this photo competition offers international recognition and the opportunity to display the prestigious Black and White Photo Awards hallmark. Winning images from past editions can be explored at bwphotoawards.com.
