Prix Viviane EdersThe fourth edition of the Viviane Esders Prize has launched!
The Prix Viviane Esders is awarded to a professional, independant, European photographer who is still active, and demonstrates a personal style and artistic approach.
Driven by the idea of discovering or rediscovering a lifetime of work, the prize stands out for the generous endowment of €60,000 in total and the recognition it brings to remarkable artistic careers who really need financial support to pursue their work.
The Jury, accompanied by Viviane Esders and made up of six personalities from the world of art and culture honor:
One Laureate with a 50 000€ grant including €10,000 towards the production of a book
Two finalists with a 5 000€ grant each
Calendar of the 2025 edition:
27 Jan. to 13 April: Open Call
March: Announcement of the 2025 jury
June: Announcement of the 3 finalists for 2025
October: Award Ceremony
In 2025, our aim is to attract more applications from women photographers and to broaden the representation of other European countries.
