Rovinj PhotodaysWe are delighted to invite all photography enthusiasts to participate in the annual Rovinj Photodays competition!
The competition is open to the entire international photography scene from January 13 to March 2, 2025, under the title: International Competition of Contemporary Photography – 17th Rovinj Photodays
Photographers are invited to present their works in one or more official categories by adhering to the precise rules and submission protocols detailed on the festival’s official website: www.photodays-rovinj.com
AWARDS:
Presentation of all finalists’ works with corresponding author statements on the official website
Exhibition of selected finalists’ works during the festival in Rovinj
All nominated works from the final exhibition will remain in the museum’s permanent digital collection
Written recognition for all winners and finalists of the final exhibition
An official digital catalog of the final exhibition for all finalists
Winners in each category will receive free half-board accommodation for two at Island Hotel Katarina during the festival’s final event in May 2025
GRAND PRIX
Cash prize of 2,000 EUR
A solo exhibition with a corresponding catalog during the festival’s final event in May 2026 in Rovinj
Free half-board accommodation at Island Hotel Katarina during their stay in Rovinj in both 2025 and 2026
Special placement in the museum’s collection, where the work will be curated either in digital or printed form (author’s choice)

SUBMISSION RULES:
Entries must consist of photographs or series of photographs created within the past two years.
Each submission may consist of a single photograph or a series of photographs on the same theme. A short biography (up to one page) and a work statement – up to one page in the native language and English – must be attached to the submission.
A participation fee of 20 EUR / 20 USD is required.
One fee covers a total of three submissions.
Participants may submit photographs in six categories: Architecture, Documentary, Fashion, Landscape, Nude/Body, and Portrait.
