The Hasselblad Foundation is delighted to announce that Sophie Ristelhueber is the 2025 Hasselblad Award laureate, the world’s largest photography award, consisting of SEK 2,000,000, a gold medal, and a Hasselblad camera. The laureate is honoured with a solo exhibition at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg

Leica Street Photo Contest Grand Prix
Mingzu Liu has won the Grand Prix of this year’s Leica Street Photo Contest. What started as a regional photo contest in Poland has evolved into a competition with international reach: more than 12,000 entries were submitted for the 14th Leica Street Photo Contest by photographers from 99 countries around the world. After their presentation in Warsaw, the 30 shortlisted works are now displayed at the Leica Gallery Vienna, where they can be viewed from 7 March to 30 April 2025.

Now in its 18th year, the Professional competition rewards outstanding series of work both for their compelling approach to narrative and for their photographic execution. Across this year’s competitions, over 419,000 images from over 200 countries and territories were submitted to the Awards.
